Information we collect

• Reservation details you submit (name, email, phone, pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, service preferences, notes).
• Payment information handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Basic device and usage data collected through analytics and error monitoring when you consent.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site functional and, when you consent, to measure traffic and improve service. In regions that require prior consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada), analytics and advertising storage remain denied until you accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data.

How your information is used

• To confirm, dispatch, and complete your chauffeur reservation.
• To send booking confirmations, receipts, and service-related messages.
• To improve the reliability and quality of the service.

Service providers

We share only what is necessary with vetted providers who help operate the service — payment processing (Stripe), reservation and account infrastructure, email delivery, SMS notifications, and privacy-respecting analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential.

Email delivery and cross-border processing

Transactional email — booking confirmations, payment receipts, and concierge alerts — is delivered on our behalf by a third-party email service provider engaged under contract. These messages may contain your name, email address, telephone number, flight number, and pickup address. Because email infrastructure is typically operated outside Canada, your information may be processed or stored in another jurisdiction and may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that jurisdiction. We require our providers to apply safeguards consistent with the protection afforded under PIPEDA. We are in the process of obtaining written confirmation of the provider's identity, processing region, and contractual commitments, and will update this section accordingly.

Our provider maintains a short-term delivery history of send, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events. We separately maintain our own permanent record of which confirmations were sent, so that critical trip details remain retrievable to you and to our dispatch team.

Retention

Reservation and payment records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet applicable tax and accounting obligations. Email delivery event records held by our provider are retained on a short-term basis; our own send log is retained alongside the related reservation record.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting the concierge desk. We will respond within a reasonable time frame.

Scope of services

Opulent Black Car's business activities are strictly limited to chauffeur and transportation services. We do not collect, receive, hold, distribute, or remit funds on behalf of third-party vendors, contractors, or other service providers.
